At the Windmills of Leros, the wind moves around the old structures, giving life to the landscape. From high up there, the sea opens up to the horizon, while the light highlights the white of the Windmills, the stone, and the colors of the island.
For us, Leros is a source of inspiration not only for what we see, but also for what we feel: simplicity, freedom, and tranquility. These elements frequently return to our creations through colors, materials, and small details.
Where inspiration begins
The photoshoot at the Windmills was one of those moments where everything connected naturally: the light, the landscape, the colors, and the presence of the fabric within the space. The red of the window, the white of the Windmills, and the shades of the kaftan created an image with a bold yet calm character.
Many times, inspiration begins exactly like this, through something simple and real. From a contrast of colors, a detail, or the way a fabric stands within a place. And then, the space does not just become the background of a photo, but part of the creation itself.
The beauty of simplicity
The wind gave the fabric its own motion, making the moment feel free and spontaneous. Without anything staged or exaggerated, the kaftan naturally followed the rhythm of the landscape.
This sense of simplicity is very close to our own design philosophy. We love natural materials, comfortable lines, and pieces that allow the body to move freely. Creations that do not try to impose themselves, but rather become part of the moment and the person wearing them.
The small details that stay
Sometimes, a small detail can hold within it the entire feeling of a place. The blue of the earring recalls the sea, while the dried flowers bring something of the island's nature closer to us.
For us, these small elements are not just decoration. They are ways to hold onto a moment, a color, or a memory, and transfer them into something that can be worn and become personal.
