Collection: The beginning of the thread: A story that began 45 years ago

In our welcome you read about our love for the handmade. But this love was not born yesterday. For me, it all started about 45 years ago, in a workshop full of fabrics, brushes and needles.

The photo you see above is not just a sample of my work. They are the "treasures" of my old handicraft. Back when each design was hand-painted and then embroidered with incredible patience. These handiwork traveled all over Greece and today, what was preserved intact, constitutes my "heritage".

I wanted to start our blog from here, from these retro pieces. Because the quality we strive for today at Muses with our linens, resin and clay, has its roots in this old, authentic technique. Every stitch of that time taught me the respect we owe to the handmade today.
